What if we told you we had the perfect remedy for the summer heat? Enjoying a refreshing, cold cocktail by the poolside is the perfect way to cool down this summer. Check out this blog to see how to elevate all your favorite cocktails this summer.

White Negroni Spritz:

3 ounces of Uncle Tim's Cocktails White Negroni, 3 ounces of Lemon Soda, 1 squeeze of Lemon and 1 twist of lemon to garnish. ID: A beige instagram story post that contains the previously listed recipe and red accents, including a red, white and yellow cocktail graphic.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with this classic cocktail, a negroni is a gin-based cocktail that adds a brisk breeze to any hot summer day. If you are looking for a way to upgrade your cocktail experience, we’ve got you covered. Try out our White Negroni under the summer sun for a refreshing and citrusy twist to your afternoon.

Wanting to push the bar, pun intended, even further? Don’t be afraid to play around with your mixed drinks this season. Try adding your favorite citrus soda, like our choice of Spindrift lemon sparkling water, to your negroni to make it into a spritz. Or, if you’re feeling adventurous, consider adding prosecco to this cocktail for a boozy and breezy Negroni spritz. Not a fan of carbonation? Try a simple addition like a fresh squeeze of citrus juice. Have fun with it!

If Negronis or gin aren’t your cup of tea, or you’re looking for something with a little darker flavor profile, consider elevating our Classic or Smoked Manhattans. While it might not be apparent , these whisky-based cocktails are great for the summer with the addition of some extra sweetness.

Strawberry Manhattan Buck:

2 ounces of Uncle Tim's Cocktails Classic Manhattan, three quarters ounce of strawberry puree, a half ounce of lemon juice, topped with ginger beer.

Not a fan of peach but love the flavor profile of the Manhattan? Consider making a Manhattan Buck instead. Simply combine strawberry puree and lemon juice with our Classic Manhattan and top with ginger beer for a smooth and refreshing strawberry cocktail. Garnish this option with a slice of lemon peel or a fresh cut strawberry!

Grilled Peach Smash:

2 ounces of Uncle Tim's Cocktails Smoked Manhattan, a quarter ounce of 1 muddled peach, 2 to 3 muddled mint leaves, a half ounce of lemon juice and a quarter ounce of simple syrup.

If you’re local to Colorado like us, try boiling down some Palisade peaches into a marmalade to make a smoky peach manhattan margarita, perfect for a summer sunset. With the smokiness from the whiskey, combined with the sweetness of the peaches and the addition of a little sweetener, this well balanced cocktail is sure to please anyone’s taste buds.

No matter which spirit you prefer, Uncle Tim’s Cocktails has got the perfect concoction for any hot summer day. Don’t be afraid to mix things up this summer and enjoy a mixed manhattan drink by the pool. For all your summer mixed drink needs, visit Uncle Tim’s Liquor Cabinet.
